About Our Physiotherapists, Podiatrists & Orthotic Services Located in Oakleigh

We take an immense amount of pride in delivering our patients a professional, friendly service. Atherton Road Podiatry Centre was established in 2009, by leading podiatrist Nick Nicolopoulos. Nikolaos is a lecturer and clinical co-ordinator at La Trobe University’s Podiatry Department in Melbourne, one of the foremost Podiatry Tertiary Teaching Institutions in the country. In 2016, Chalerm Tuantab took over the clinic in Oakleigh and now works alongside fellow colleagues and qualified podiatrists and physiotherapists Mitch White, Timothy Crilly, Alison Reed, Briony Barry and Lauren Goodwin. In 2018, Atherton Road Podiatry was moved across the road in larger faciltiies to include physiotherapy services and re branded to Oakleigh Podiatry and Physiothearpy Centre.

Alison Reed

Originally from Shepparton, Alison graduated from La Trobe University with a Bachelor of Health Science and Masters of Podiatry Practice. Since then Alison has had a range of experience in both public and private podiatry. Alison joined our team in 2018, and will work across both clinics (Atherton Road Podiatry Centre and Kew Podiatry and Sports Centre). She enjoys every aspect of podiatry, however has a particular interest in diabetic foot health.  

Chalerm Tuantab
B. Hlth. Sci. & M. Pod. Prac., M. A. Pod. A, SMA Member, Dip FIFA medicine

Originally from Hobart, Tasmania, Chalerm Tuantab graduated from La Trobe University with a Bachelor of Health Science and Masters in Podiatric Practice. Currently, he is also the president for a non-for profit organisation Footscape, while also being the team podiatrist/head of medical for the National Premier League soccer club, South Melbourne FC, and previously for Oakleigh Cannons, Bentleigh Greens and Heidelberg United. Before working in the field of podiatry, he worked across Melbourne at organisations such as Melbourne University, Belgravia Leisure and YMCA. At each of these workplaces he worked in management of facility centres - gyms, pools and recreation centres.

Chalerm has a strong passion for providing the best evidence-based practice for an extensive scope of practice, including wound care, diabetic assessments, sports injuries and educational presentations. Personal interests include sports, outdoor adventures and travel.

Timothy Crilly

Timothy graduated from Charles Sturt University with a Bachelor of Podiatry. Upon graduation he accepted an offer to work as a podiatrist in Melbourne . Podiatry has fuelled his desire for helping others, and this ideology is a driving factor in the pursuit of providing the best quality care.

Timothy has an extensive background in footwear and is able to utilise this to make specific recommendations on a variety of shoes, ranging from casual walking to high-level performance footwear. His personal interests include barracking for the mighty Collingwood football club and cooking.
